We are the authority on the coordination of non-emergency medical transportation. Our industry experience is unsurpassed with many of our original concepts becoming industry standard for the effective delivery of transportation services. Whether it be a routine office visit or more complex multi-stop appointment, we will safely and effectively transport your injured worker regardless of time or location.
There are time when an injured worker is required to travel a significant distance to receive the necessary medical attention for their work related injury.
AVO is specifically equipped to handle every aspect of the injured workers’ travel from airfare and ground transportation to lodging and even meals. We will establish a comprehensive itinerary based around the medical appointment as well as any medical restrictions the injured worker may have.
The role of an interpreter goes much further than simply conveying one language into another. Medical Interpreters are tasked with facilitating communication between injured workers with limited English proficiency (LEP) and their physicians, nurses, lab technicians, other healthcare providers as well as their primary claims handler. Because of the ever growing number of LEP workers, the need for qualified interpreters has grown swiftly over the last decade.
